Casa Natura in Galapagos is a
small but lovely hotel which opened its doors to visitors in February of 2009. The
hotel counts offers 15 rooms with air conditioner available , it´s been

Villa Laguna is a perfect example

The Hotel Sol y Mar is found
in Puerto Ayora, on Santa Cruz island, about
10 walking minutes away from the Charles Darwin Science Station with direct ocean view. It´s one of the most modern hotels in Puerto
Ayora with a pool on the terrace and also some chairs and hammocks. It´s also
very casual that sea lions come and visit this area every now and then. Completely
renovated in 2006, it counts with 17 comfortarble and modern rooms with a
private balcony and an incredible view to the bay which is frecuently visited
by iguanas, pelicans and sea lions. All of the rooms count with a private

PROGRAM
Itinerary (5 Days / 4 Nights)
Day
01: Baltra´s airport – Transfer in/ Santa Cruz – German´s Beach
Transfer in from the airport depending
on the flight arrival to take the shuffle that will take us first to the
Itabaca canal place where by ferry will move toward the pier in Santa Cruz Island
to then catch our car to Puerto Ayora with 42 km rounds. Arrival and hotel
check in. In the afternoon we will walk to the dock to board a water taxi to
cross to the other side of the island to take a 15 minutes pathway which pass
by a saline lagoon before to reach “The cliffs”, a natural pool of crystal
water where to enjoy of a refreshing bath. Back to the hotel, lodging

02: Navigation
Floreana
Island
After breakfast, we
depart from Puerto Ayora on the yacht accompanied by our
guide for sailing Academy Bay, where
we can enjoy of its turquoise waters and to witness
the boats and cruise´s traffic arriving and departing from Santa Cruz, then
we will arrive to Floreana Island, landing at Puerto Velasco Ibarra, to observe a small colony of marine iguanas. We
will catch a bus that will
take us to the top of the island, where to
visit the “Galapagueras”, breeding places to see the turtles in their natural state
with the company of our guide. Later visit to "the caves", that are
natural shelters where the first inhabitants of the island
live, while the guide tell us its story same as to
know the fresh water shed to get water for their survival.
In the afternoon, we
take lunch on board of the boat, to make navigation around the sea
lion´s colony of “La Lobería” by the Post Office and then sail around the Devil's
Crown, where to watch lots of seabirds. Finally we
will sail around the Champion islet, where you can observe masked bobbies, tropical birds, sea lions and also carry
out the activity of snorkeling in the Champion Bay with all
gear included; in the afternoon return to the hotel to
take a break from this beautiful trip.
Santa Fe Island
Departure from Puerto Ayora at 08:00 am to Santa Fe island approximately 45 minutes of navigation, place where we
switch to a motor boat to bird watch such as blue footed boobies, gulls, terns
but also to observe walls and cliffs, home of many of these marine
species, after that we will do snorkeling in two different places to enjoy the environment, even
the chance to swim with sea lions that are completely friendly
same as with a variety of colorful fish in a depth of 3 to 4 meters
with abundant marine life (security measures will be taken when
performing the activity).
At noon we start our navigation to Playa Escondida, located 25 minutes from Santa Fe, a
place with beautiful landscapes and a pristine beach for snorkeling
or swimming; at this place there is also the option to
take a walk to see colonies of marine iguanas in the wild to appreciate their behavior and
way of life. In this beach you can relax, sunbathe, swim and rest until
our navigation to return to Santa Cruz starts at15:30.
Isabela Island:
Pick up
passengers at 7:00 am by the hotel lobby to take a speedboat heading to Isabela
Island (2:30 hours navigation approx.) where the series of islets named "TINTORERAS
ISLETS" and its privileged location facing Puerto Villamil are, named due
to the abundance of the white tip sharks or “tintoreras” in its waters, place
where we could also watch penguins, sea lions, marine iguanas same as practice
snorkeling around harmless sharks and a great bunch of colorful fish. Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Center: Managed by the National
Park in order to rear giant turtles from the egg until their adolescence
to get released then in the uplands, its natural environment.
FLAMINGOS LAGOON: Considered the
largest lagoon in the islands being one the major and favorite places for
flamingo´s reproduction. In the afternoon we return to Santa Cruz for dinner
and lodging.
Day
03: Tortuga Bay / Charles Darwin Scientific Station
We start at 8:00 with our guides heading
to an approximately 30 minutes’ walk through an eco-path towards Tortuga Bay,
one of the more splendid white sand beaches in the Galapagos and worldwide,
formed by fish bones and coral shells. Accompanied by pelicans and gulls we
will enjoy of the beach the whole morning to the head back to the hotel by
noon. Later at 15:00 pm we will visit Charles Darwin Scientific Station
altogether with its extraordinary giant tortoises breeding center. We head back
to the hotel by 19:00 hours. Lodging

04: Highlands / Garrapatero Beach
We start our day at 8:30 am to go to
visit the “lava tunnels” and their fascinating volcanic formation, located in
Santa Cruz´ highlands, place where we will walk 900 mts distance inside the
tunnel formation, using flashlights to appreciate the environment accompanied
with our guide who will explain about the different types of eruptions that
cause on the islands formation. In the afternoon we visit one of the highlights
there, the Garrapatero beach to enjoy the rest of our day. We get back to Santa
Cruz. Lodging
Day
05: Santa Cruz- Transfer out / Twin Craters / Baltra airport
Departure from the hotel with our guides´
assistance to start our transfer out to the airport, which includes a last stop
in our way to check the Twin Craters, two geologic subsidences between an escalecia´s
forest (endemic vegetation) located in the island´s upper lands.

breakfast we get some options to choose:
OPTION 1:
We move by car to “El Cura” sector to visit Sierra Negra Volcano and Volcán
Chico followed by a pathway
OPTION 2: Visit
the wetlands which are a complex of trails (Orchilla Hill, The Estuary, Poza
Escondida, Poza Redonda, El Túnel del Estero, Love Beach, Los Tunos viewpoint, Pozas
Verdes and La Playita) where to find a great variety of flora and fauna. Box

OPTION 1:
Concha Perla excursion, a beautiful beach where to practice snorkeling
surrounded by sea lions, iguanas same as other marine fauna or just enjoy of
the beach
OPTION 2:
Bay tour toward the “Tintoreras Islets” and its privileged location facing
Puerto Villamil, named due to the abundance of the white tip sharks or
“tintoreras” in its waters, place where we could also watch penguins, sea

Day 03: Isabela – Santa Cruz Islands
After breakfast, departure from
Isabela toward Santa Cruz Island, transfer to the chosen hotel for the check
in; later we will visit Charles Darwin Scientific Station altogether with its
extraordinary giant tortoises breeding center. Lunch and then with our guide we
head to an approximately 30 minutes’ walk through an eco-path towards Tortuga
Bay, one of the more splendid white sand beaches in the Galapagos and
worldwide, formed by fish bones and coral shells.

04: Floreana or Santa Fé Island
Floreana Island:
After breakfast, we
depart from Puerto Ayora on the yacht accompanied by our
