Our tour begins visiting one of Quito´s main church such as the National Vow Basilica to look up its unique decoration, later we continue to our walking tour throughout Quito’s Old Town main roads that includes the Main Square visit, the Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, Municipality and Archiepiscopal Palace; crossing through “the seven crosses street” to see El Sagrario Church, the Cultural Metropolitan Center, San Francisco Church and to admire the gilded impressive decorated La Compania de Jesus Church to finish with a marvelous view of the whole city on top of “El Panecillo Hill and statue”. Early in the afternoon we head to the Equator area to visit “Ciudad Mitad del Mundo” and Intiñan Museum. Transfer back to the hotel, passengers can also end the tour at the Cable Car Project, Teleferico de Quito.

Nuestro tour inicia con la visita de una de las iglesia principales de Quito como la Basílica del Voto Nacional para apreciar su decoración única para luego continuar con nuestro recorrido a pie por las calles principales del centro histórico de Quito el mismo que incluye visita a la Plaza Central, La Catedral, El Palacio Presidencial, Municipalidad y Palacio Arzobispal; cruzamos por la "calle de las siete cruces" para observar la iglesia de El Sagrario, el Centro Cultural Metropolitano, la iglesia de San Francisco y admirar la impresionante iglesia decorada de pan de oro de La Compañia de Jesús para finalizar con una maravillosa vista de toda la ciudad desde la cima del "cerro y la estatua del Panecillo". Nuestro día empieza por la mañana con dirección Este hacia la Reserva Ecológica Antisana, donde se ubica uno de los volcanes nevados más altos del país, el Antisana (5758 m) mostrando gran importancia no solo por su ecosistema de bosque pero también como fuente de agua. En nuestro día, tendremos grandes oportunidades de admirar la vida silvestre del lugar, incluido el pariente de halcón, el “cara cara o curiquingue”, la bandurria de cabeza negra, gaviotas andinas entre otras especies de aves,  así como ganado salvaje ocupando abundantes extensiones de vegetación de almohadillas en las praderas del páramo. Incluye un recorrido a pie por un sendero, que nos llevara a la laguna La Mica, la más grande de la reserva mientras aprendemos y admiramos de su rica y única flora y fauna.

Our day starts early heading east direction to The Antisana Ecological Reserve, where one of the snow capped volcanoes is, showing a great importance not only as a forest ecosystem but as a water source. In our journey we will get good chances to see wildlife of the area, including the falcon related “ cara cara or curiquinge”, the blacked faced ibis, sea gulls among others, same as abundance vegetation of cushions like formations on the prairie areas. After a short walk, we will arrive to “La Mica” lagoon the largest of the reserve while learning and admiring a unique richness of flora and fauna.

Our visit to Otavalo starts early in the morning. We will make a stopover in the town of Cayambe where we will taste the delicious “bizcochos”.

Afterwards, we keep our drive to the town of Otavalo where we will visit the indigenous textile market at “Plaza de los Ponchos”; there you could marvel at the colored stands where to sell clothes, handmade jewelry, music instruments, hats and art in different ways. After this cultural highlight we will continue to the “Peguche”  waterfall, where locals worshiped nature by cleaning themselves taking baths during the solstice (21 March). At the end we will visit the leather town of Cotacachi and its shops on main street Afterwards return to Quito.

During the cloud forest visit we enjoy the beautiful nature land of Mindo town and forest.

We start the day with a stop at the lookout point of the Pululahua Reserve to appreciate its cracked volcano to continue on our way down to the coast. Once in Mindo we will visit the butterfly farm, a place where we can observe variety of butterflies and their stages. After this we have the chance to explore “Mindo Nambillo Reserve” crossing the canopy forest area through enjoy the cable car- “tarabita” to visit some of the stunning  waterfalls there. Our tour ends bird watching in a nearby garden. Return to Quito.

We will start early in the morning heading to the Quilotoa lagoon in the Cotopaxi Province, an old water filled caldera of volcanic origin whose water is turquoise blended color when in contact with cloud´s shades .On a nice hike down that takes about 30 minutes we could reach the bank of the lagoon. Ascending back to the top takes more time, but you have the chance to rent mules ahead or at the lagoon to do it. Back in the top we will enjoy the beautiful countryside scenery and go back to Quito.

Our visit of the Cotopaxi National Park includes the  visit of the Interpretation Center where we will acclimate to the low oxygen level and get used to the altitude with a cup of coca or zunfo tea, a special and traditional drink of the Andean region. After the stopover in the musseum we will take a walk for about 1 hour by Limpiopungo lake´s area at 3800 m from sea level to take some pictures of the amazing landscape and the typical moorlands wildlife. Leasure time for lunch or to explore around.  Return to Quito.
